Psychotherapy and Coaching Structure
Psychotherapy and Coaching sessions are typically provided in 50 minute appointments once per week, but double or longer sessions can be arranged if appropriate, desired, and finances permit.
It is difficult to keep the momentum going to really shift if psychotherapy, and some coaching, is less frequent than once per week. In some cases, twice a week is preferable or needed.

Consultation Structure
Phone consultation is available in 20 minute increments. Consultation can be face-to-face or by telephone, Skype, or other internet modality.
Hours of Operation
My practice works by appointment only. Hours available range from 9am PST to 9pm PST Monday through Friday. Special circumstances may be able to be accommodated.
Emergencies
CALL 911. Clients or groups with whom I am already working – Call me - for crises that cannot wait until the next scheduled session. We do the work in face-to-face sessions. More frequent sessions may be needed to contain our work within scheduled sessions.
Services Fee/Payment Information
Fees My fee is $150.00 for a 50-minute session. A sliding scale slots is available for those unable to afford the regular fee – thus – if my services seem like they may be right for you – do call to discuss.
Payment Payment for services is generally due at the time services are rendered, unless other arrangements have been made. Payment may be made by cash or check. I have been approved for claims through the CA Victim Compensation Program (VCP) in the past and can be so again if you provide the appropriate and eligible claim information.
Cancellation Policy A minimum of forty-eight hours' notice is requested if appointments need to be cancelled. For cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice, the full fee is charged. Occasionally, if you are unable to come in for your appointment, it may be possible to reschedule that same week or to have the session by phone (if insurance permits).
Health Insurance Plans For psychotherapy, check with your HMO or PPO provider panel to see if our work together would be covered. Some PPOs and other insurance have out-of-network (“point of service”) benefits. I am not a Medicaid, Medicare, or Social Security Disability provider. Once a month, I can prepare and submit claims for you to any health insurance plan. Once your insurance starts sending insurance reimbursement to my office, I will carry the insurance portion of the fee.
I accept payments through the Victim Witness Program (for California and other states) for established claims. While I do accept Workers Compensation, my experience has been that it is common for CA Worker’s Compensation to give a lump sum settlement beyond brief psychotherapy. You would then use your settlement to pay for continuation of psychotherapy services.
