EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

EMDR is a powerful and rapid treatment for single traumas/losses, negative memories and beliefs, performance and creativity enhancement, fear/panic/phobias, and resource strengthening. This therapy promotes a reprocessing of information about past, present, and anticipated future experience in order to open new neural pathways to new possibilities and accomplishments.

emdria.org/,   emdr.com   and   emdr-europe.org   are major EMDR websites.

With my mind-brain-body-spirit-as-self framework, I utilize advanced EMDR applications and protocols. EMDR’s accelerated power can be combined with other methods, approaches, and steps to add to the effectiveness of psychotherapy or coaching for specific goals. Examples:

  • Empowerment
  • Resource development, self strength skills, dyadic resourcing
  • Performance, confidence, and creativity enhancement
  • More complex panic, phobias, anxieties
  • Depression, manic depression, and attachment problems
  • Eating disorders
  • Weight and exercise/stretching issues
  • Substance abuse (goals, triggers, and traumas)
  • Body-based trauma
  • Early trauma
  • Dissociation
  • Complex trauma
  • Headaches
  • Pain
  • Accelerated work for routinely stressful, challenging, or performance situations
  • Clearing and resetting basic emotional and motivational circuits
  • Knowing who you are (identity) and self development
  • Processing of terror, abandonment, annihilation stuck states
  • Self realization
